Smart Cushion® Protects Semi Driver

A semi-truck hit the SCI head-on. The driver was doing between 55 and 60 MPH. He had about 13,000 pounds in the trailer. Our Smart Cushion® protected the driver from making contact with the sound wall. All other attenuators would have bottomed out moving at that speed and the truck would have climbed over the wall. This driver walked away from the crash.
